Abstract

The Brain Based Learning model is learning that is synchronized with the way the brain is designed naturally for learning. The BBL model has pre-exposure syntax, preparation, initiation and acquisition, elaboration, incubation and memory formation, verification and checking of beliefs, and celebrations and functional integration. Based on the results of the study using the BBL model shows students have a better understanding of the concept than using conventional learning, but this model must be supported by a conducive classroom atmosphere and a good emotional atmosphere. Roundhouse diagram techniques are a technique that can be used to organize concepts, identify relationships and build knowledge. Based on the results of previous research, this technique is able to improve the ability to think to find concepts and longer stored in memory. Roundhouse diagram techniques can train students to analyze, simple techniques for remembering subject matter and can strengthen the eyes and brain so that they can create a better learning atmosphere. Integration of BBL models with Roundhouse diagram techniques to complement their strengths and weaknesses. Based on the 2016/2017 National Examination Results, the average percentage score of the "body defense mechanism" indicator obtained by the students of MA Darussalam in Bengkulu was 37.7%; while in 2017/2018 it decreased to 28.81%. Through the BBL model accompanied by Roundhouse diagram techniques, it is expected to be able to empower analytical thinking skills that are less trained in students and can empower a caring attitude towards body health
