Abstract

ABSTARCT This study aims to develop a snake and ladder game media for traffic sign material to students and to determine the feasibility level of using the media, as well as knowing the practicality of the media through the responses of educators and students after using the snake ladder game media traffic sign material. The research method adapts to the development model developed by Borg and Gall. This study uses the following six steps: 1) potential problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) product validation, 5) product revision, 6) product trial. Data collection techniques used in the form of: material expert questionnaire validation and media expert questionnaire to determine the level of media feasibility and viii teacher and student assessment response questionnaires to determine the level of practicality of the media. The subjects of the research and development were students of class III B at SD Negeri 20 Bengkulu City. The results of the research and development obtained a design in the form of a snake and ladder game media to introduce traffic signs in class III PPKN learning at SD Negeri 20 Bengkulu City, obtaining a feasibility score of 4.55 by media experts, 4.4 by material experts. The teacher's response to the practicality of the media got a score of 1 and the student's response to the practicality of the media got a score of 0.98. Based on the results of the description above, the product developed by the researcher is feasible and practical to be used as a learning medium.
