Abstract

The purpose of this study was to map the selection of student of the Islamic Banking Study Program Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business IAIN Bengkulu in 2015-2019. To uncover the problem in depth and thoroughly researchers used a quantitative descriptive approach, the population in this study was the entire thesis of Islamic Banking Study Program students amounting to 473 Thesis. Data collection techniques are done through documentation that is analyzed using a simple percentage formula. The results of the study stated that in general Sharia Banking Study Program students conducted research in the field of study "Banks and Financial Institutions" namely 216 times (45%), Sharia Banking Study Program Students more than half used the " Qualitative " Research Approach of 314 times (67%), In general Students of the Sharia Banking Study Program choose a research location in "Bengkulu City " 338 times with a percentage (71%), and the Institution where the most research was examined was "BNI Syariah Bank" 77 times (16%)
