Abstract

This study uses descriptive methods with qualitative data. So the handle in this study is the author's interpretation of teacher competence in the use of AkidahAkhlak learning media in MAN Model Bengkulu. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. In presenting data using analysis interactif models from Miles and Huberman. Competence is a basic characteristic of someone who indicates how to think, behave, and act and draw conclusions that can be done and maintained by someone at a certain period of time. In accordance with the objectives of this study, the writer wants to analyze teacher competence in the use of AkidahAkhlak in MAN Model Bengkulu. The author tries to find informants and make secondary data in research. In the object of his research the author chose the father / mother teacher of the AkidahAkhlak’s subjects. The results of the analysis of the research that the authors have done have problems that there are still teachers who do not have ideal professional competencies and have not mastered the variety of methods and learning strategies in improving the quality of subject learning AkidahAkhlak for students. However, this shortfall is anticipated by the existence of competency improvement programs organized by schools and education institutions that overshadow.
