Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine adolescents who know the degradation of Facebook social media addiction to immorality in Selingan Village. The method used in this research is qualitative with data collection through observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis techniques. From the results of the research that the researchers did, the researchers concluded that: 1) The form of adolescent morals in the use of Facebook social media in junior high school adolescents included: moderate, mild and severe delinquency. 2) The influence of using Facebook social media on junior high school to high school adolescents in Selinsingan Village, among others: Positive Effects: a) The more modern technology makes it easier for teenagers in Selinsingan Seluma Utara Village to complete tasks such as assignments; b) youth in Selinsingan Village can access knowledge from the internet and lessons that cannot be obtained from their school; c) Feeling compelled to try to improve their abilities; Negative Impacts include: a) Westernization; b) Shifting cultural values; c) Increasing the number of crime and juvenile delinquency.
