Abstract

The problem studied in this thesis is what are the methods of Islamic religious education in the Qur'an from the perspective of Ibn Kathir. The purpose of this study is to describe the methods contained in the Qur'an according to Ibn Kathir. As for the type of library research, (library research) is research that uses data that has been collected including theory, concepts and ideas, therefore the authors make it as research material coming from written sources by studying, reviewing, library materials related to the material. discussion. As for the data analysis technique, the researcher uses content analysis, descriptive analysis, and inductive analysis to draw conclusions in this study. From the results of this study it was found that: the method of Islamic religious education in the Koran, namely Surah An-Nahl verse 125, Al-Kahf verse 77 demonstration/practice), Surah Hudd verse 120 (story-telling method) and Surah Al-Baqarah verse 189 (method question and answer). So according to the author, if it is understood in depth about the case of Islamic religious education in the Qur'an from the perspective of Ibn Kathir, that to improve the education system, especially the teaching model, different methods can be used according to the situation that occurs in the field, where these tips or methods are used to get feedback. from students, students are able to understand the learning material well and get good quality learning, and for teachers as a reference for understanding in evaluating the systems and methods that have been used.
